The United Way of Franklin County is a private, non-profit organization serving the citizens of Franklin County. First organized in 1994, United Way of Franklin County is governed by a local board of directors made up of 23 members and employs an executive director who conducts the annual campaign, supports volunteers and oversees finances.Volunteers are at the very heart of the organization and are key to the accomplishment of agency goals. More than 300 volunteers help the UWFC reach its goals and carry out its mission.
